Fraud Help and Prevention

You can be the first line of defense against fraud! By downloading the WCCUCardApp, you will have access to variety of tools right in your hand! Some features include:

Frequent Fraud Questions

You should lock your debit card on the app immediately if it isn’t locked already.


Once you have locked your card on the app or if you do not have the app your next step should be to call WCCUdirectly.  You can call your local branch or 1-800-584-9220 and a WCCU employee will help you close your card during our regular hours.

If it is after our regular hours, you can select option 4 on the after-hours menu and it will direct you to the lost/stolen line. (1-866-662-8059)

You should receive a provisional credit in your account within 10 business days after making your fraud claim. If it's been longer than 10 business days since your claim was made and you still haven't seen your provisional credit, then you should contact us directly and speak with a representative in card services.
